HTC Desire 555 is an upgrade from already available HTC Desire 530 and the HTC Desire 626.
HTC has announced the new HTC Desire 555, further extending the Desire series. The smartphone comes at a price of $119 (approximately Rs 7,658). HTC has currently made the smartphone available in the US only via Cricket wireless carrier. So far, there is no word on the availability of the HTC Desire 555 in India. The company might make the smartphone available in the country in coming months.
The HTC Desire 555 is said to be the next-in-line successor to the earlier launched HTC Desire 530 and Desire 626, reports NeoWin. The smartphone promises upgrades from the previous generation Desire smartphones and this also underlines the fact that the Taiwanese giant is not yet giving up on entry-level smartphones. The company announced to halt its production of budget smartphones earlier this year.
