In an age when people are connected through smartphones and internet, launch of feature phone is unlikely to ruffle any feathers for users like you and I who are hooked to the world of social media. However, there still remain over 4 billion people, including in India, who do not belong to the ‘connected’ generation and still rely on text and voice services.
“More than 400 million feature phones were sold globally in 2016. We cannot underestimate the need and benefit of being connected and we are dedicated to delivering devices that can enable many people around the world to expand their horizon,” Arto Nummela, CEO, HMD Global said.
